... and for the record
... movers suck. They suck a lot. But then, we knew this and used them anyway, so we really only have ourselves to blame for the outpouring of chaos that followed in our wake.
Sometimes, it really pays to listen to your guts, lest you end up paying X3 from your wallet. Neat philosophy, huh?
So, we made it to MN in one piece, things are slowly, but surely, beginning to revert back to the "normal" chaos we are accustomed to, and, most importantly, we have internet access... ok, more importantly, *I* have internet access. I had almost forgotten how much fun it is to organize, calculate, and pay bills with paper, pens, stamps, and telephones. Talk about a lesson in humility.
There are still boxes everywhere, mostly unopened, which almost suits me just dandily since most of the stuff really doesn't have a home just yet... like all my poor transformers who are still in boxes in the dark. I did make sure to give them some time out of the boxes to look around and take in their new surroundings though, and they seem happy for the time being.
Funny that I write this as if anyone actually pays this journal any attention. I am amused, so that's good enough
